Our Love Story

We met by way of our dear friends Sam and Abby Odio, who played a meaningful role in both of our lives long before they brought us together. Our first date was on the patio at Steins in Mountain View, where we quickly uncovered a mutual appreciation of our friends, families, and the communities who make us who we are, and a strong sense that the best parts of life are not lived in the shallow end of the proverbial pool.

What started as drinks and appetizers soon turned into road trips, weekend getaways, and bike rides in search of the perfect drink-and-french-fry combination.

Through our time together, we've embraced a life built around everyday moments together — choosing a new recipe to try, playing a game of Yahtzee before dinner, walking downtown for a coffee with the dog, or putting on a record and recounting our days. We also love taking on creative projects together, finding new restaurants throughout the Bay Area, and spending time with the people who matter most to us.

We are incredibly grateful for the friends and family who have shaped us, supported us, and encouraged our relationship along the way. We got engaged under a big, shady oak tree overlooking a beautiful view — it feels only fitting that we'll be married beneath another big shady oak tree, looking out at the incredible people who have stood beside us and will help usher us into this exciting new chapter. We can't wait to celebrate with all of you.
